Job Title: Specialist Advisory Teacher - Early Years
Salary Range: MPS/UPS + 1/2 SEN dependent upon qualifications (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 19.5 hours per week

Our teams work with children aged 0-7 with a range of complex and communication needs.
We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced qualified teacher looking for a new challenge. You are invited to apply to join our team of Specialist Advisory Teachers, working successfully throughout Hertfordshire to support families and educational settings with the inclusion of children with SEND. You will have recent experience supporting children in early years settings or the Early Years Foundation Stage in schools or currently work in an advisory service. You also need a thorough knowledge and experience of implementing the SEND Code of Practice. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, work well within a team and be able to work to deadlines. Additional qualifications in SEND would be highly desirable.
In partnership with Early Years Inclusion Specialists you will deliver a range of services to support equal access, as well as meet the needs of children with a wide range of SEND in Early Years maintained and PVI settings. You will facilitate early partnership working in collaboration with a range of services.
A key function of ISL SEND Specialist Advice and Support (SEND SAS) is to ensure that the educational and developmental progress of children and young people (0-25), with a range of SEND, is met in line with the Hertfordshire Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Strategy and HCC strategic objectives.
