Administration Officer - Public Protection Team

**6 Month Fixed Term Contract**

Epsom & Ewell Borough Council are seeking a credible and effective administrator with experience of working with busy teams.

The role is supporting the Council’s new Public Protection team comprising both the licensing function (taxis, alcohol, entertainment, and animal welfare), as well as the environmental health service (food hygiene inspections, pollution control, health and safety and housing conditions), and community safety area (tackling antisocial behaviour and support for victims).

 The role will deliver the full remit of an administrator role as you would expect - from data entry and verification tasks, to answering customer queries, maintaining systems and data, scanning documents as well as other office duties that the team require.

You should have excellent organisational and written and verbal communication skills, a proactive, friendly attitude and the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Along with sound computer skills, you should be able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and have proven experience of working in an office environment.
