Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager x 2
Location: Countywide
Salary range: £35,745 - £39,880
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term (2 years)

The Strategic Partnerships Team are recruiting for two fixed-term Project Managers to work with us to develop our county-wide response to domestic abuse. The roles will be:

Project manager 1: Risk management and perpetrators

Manage projects relating to risk assessment including developing countywide responses to risk assessment such as use of the Domestic Abuse Stalking and Harassment (DASH) tool, implementation and development of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and to work on projects to enhance responses to perpetrators of domestic abuse. This role will primarily work to support the work of the domestic abuse risk management sub group, which is part of the Domestic Abuse Partnership.

Project manager 2: Pathway improvement and evidence

Manage projects relating to the pathways that exist across the county for victims of domestic abuse, including children, including scoping existing provision, supporting needs assessments, and ensuring the development of services based on local and national evidence. This will include supporting how we use evidence and learning from the Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) conducted in Hertfordshire. This role will primarily work to support the work of the domestic abuse quality and innovation sub group, which is part of the Domestic Abuse Partnership.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the delivery of specialised projects and support the delivery of elements within a larger programme of work. The work of the Strategic Partnerships Team (SPT) centres on working with a range of internal and external partners to deliver Hertfordshire’s Domestic Abuse Strategy as well as support colleagues within the complex needs side of the team to create synergy with the Hertfordshire Supporting Adults with Complex Needs Strategy.

Ideally with a background in project management, and demonstrable experience of working within the domestic abuse, violence against women and girls or a related safeguarding sector.
