Project Manager (complex needs)

Project Manager, Complex Needs (Projects) – Adult Care
Farnham House, Stevenage (with occasional travel to other locations across the county and remote working from home)
Starting Salary: £35,745 per annum progressing to £39,880 per annum.
37.5 hours per week
24 months fixed term or secondment

The Strategic Partnerships Teams is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Project Manager within the Adult Care Directorate to work with the Development Manager (Complex Needs, Projects) focussing on the implementation of an innovative pilot to support homeless adults with complex needs.

You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a two-year countywide pilot to test new interventions and systems change to improve outcomes for adults experiencing homelessness, substance misuse and mental health. The role will work alongside the Senior Development Manager, Development Manager and Public Health Evaluation Officer.

Working with District councils, Public Health and other key partners, the pilot will build on the learning from the county’s multi-agency Covid response to supporting rough sleepers under ‘Everyone In’. The pilot will also link with the findings and experiences from the Government Changing Futures pilot areas, to promote good practice - making Hertfordshire ‘ready’ for any national policy change to support adults experiencing multiple disadvantages.

Proven experience in effective partnerships, working towards shared objectives and a commitment to driving lasting change, is essential. This is a varied role for someone who is passionate about driving lasting change and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of working in the complex needs and homeless sector are desirable.

In return we can offer you excellent pension and benefits whilst working for an organisation that values its employees and invests in training and career development opportunities.

If you are applying for a secondment, please ensure that you have your manager’s permission before submitting your application.
