An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Officer in Adult Care Services Integrated Community Support Commissioning Team, based at Farnham House, Stevenage.
The Integrated Community Support Commissioning Team is responsible for commissioning a wide range of services and support for vulnerable adults to remain living independently at home. We work with providers and partner organisations to improve people’s long-term outcomes and deliver the support they need in the community. This primarily relates to Older People but also includes adults with a Learning Disability, Physical Disability or Mental Health conditions.
We have recently tendered the Countywide Reablement and Support at Home Services contracts. The successful candidate will help in ensuring that key KPI and outcomes are being met.
We will be looking to procure the homecare contracts that we have with the homecare spot market. This role will have the opportunity to be involved in this piece of work.
We are looking for someone who is skilled at data analysis, eye for detail and has good administration skills. Additionally, any relevant experience and skills in strategic commissioning and/or service development. A positive communicator who is well equipped to collaborate, influence and appropriately challenge.
With an ability to work under pressure and successfully manage multiple priorities you will continuously seek improvements in the quality of services and work closely with providers and any relevant stakeholders to resolve things where concerns or issues are identified.
The role is currently home based, but there is a hope that if and when restrictions lift there will be an opportunity to work out of the office space based at Farnham House, or to hot desk at Apsley or County Hall.
