Streetworks Inspection Officer

The Highways Services Section within Neighbourhood Services has a number of vacancies working across network and traffic management, highways licences, data and streetworks management. 

We are looking to strengthen our existing team with customer responsive applicants with a ‘can do’ attitude who will thrive in this varied and challenging environment. 

The main purpose of these posts is to support the network management and streetworks permitting team by ensuring that public utility companies, our contractors and other bodies carrying out activities on highway are compliant with legislation, requirements of their permit and that work is to the right standard and customer focussed. 

The post is based predominantly on site. The post holder will be required to attend site meetings and inspections in Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas of the Borough. This post will be reviewed at 9 months with the possibility of extension subject to business requirements.
