Highway Management Officer

The Highways Services Section within Neighbourhood Services has a number of vacancies working across network and traffic management, highways licences, data and streetworks management. 

We are looking to strengthen our existing team with customer responsive applicants with a ‘can do’ attitude who will thrive in this varied and challenging environment. 

The main purpose of this post is to support the network management and streetworks permitting team by maintaining highway asset data and records ensuring that systems are effectively utilised. Be the Local Street Gazetteer Custodian, ensuring compliance with the current requirements and regulations. Investigate and analyse cases relating to Land Encroachment using data available and work with other departments on relevant actions. Answer queries from residents, Customer Service and Councillors. 

The post is predominantly remote working with occasional requirements to attend one of our offices and to visit site in Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas of the Borough. The post is full time, 37 hours per week.
