We are looking for Casual Assistant Chefs to work with our Executive Chef to prep and deliver all elements of catering for all our various events throughout the year at the Reading Town Hall.
Shifts will vary and you need to be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as well as daytime shifts.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to support the chef in the delivery of a professional catering service, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.
Do you have experience of working in a busy kitchen?
Are you qualified to NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Level 706/2, 706/3 or an equivalent qualification?
We need people who are an effective communicators, have exceptional organisational skills, and give great customer service while remaining calm under pressure.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Assist our Executive Chef in food preparation
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Work closely with other teams in the Town Hall
