Leisure services are seeking to recruit a number of ready to work leisure assistants across our facilities, whose main task will be to provide lifeguard supervision in line with normal operating procedures.

Provide lifeguard duties across designated swimming pools in line with standard operating procedures.

Organise, supervise and lead a range of activities and set ups for the general public including cleaning, maintaining and dismantling/assembling of equipment.

Responsible for the overseeing and general safety and behaviour of the public including directing the activities of users to prevent injury, misuse and damage to facilities.

The post holder will hold a national pool lifeguard certificate and be customer focused in order to facilitate and enhance the service users experience.

It is expected that the successful candidates will work a variety of shifts across our facilities which will include evening and weekend work.

This post is subject to Enhanced Child Level DBS check.
