Business Support and Wellbeing Team Leader- Remote Working

The starting salary for this role is £35,382 per annum based on working 36 hours per week.

This role is open to remote working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. We're less about you driving to work and more about us collectively driving down our carbon footprint. We care about how you work rather than where you work; the people rather than the postcode. In support of our people and our greener futures strategies, we'd welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what remote working may look like for you. The Communications and Engagement Directorate is recruiting to a new role to facilitate agile working practices, support training requirements and wellbeing in a more virtual post covid climate.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for overseeing all comms systems to support the effective running of the team and handle a wide range of tasks.

The role reports to our   Director of Communications and Engagement- Andrea Newman and is managed on a day to day basis by the Brand and Design Manager- Alison Sheard who this role supports in budget management.

We are looking for someone who is trained to degree level in a business/HR/events discipline, who has experience and knowledge of managing a team, budget management, health and safety and well being training and qualification.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team as it supports the organisation in delivering it’s key priorities.

At Surrey, our values and behaviours are just as important as our skills and abilities. They shape who we are as an organisation. Find out more about the values we follow.
