The Head of Cultural Enterprise and Operations, within the Culture and Heritage team, will lead and develop the cultural business strategy, support the strategic development of the service to deliver excellent customer service, building operations and maximise our marketing and development opportunities to enhance the brand and profile of Waltham Forest Culture, leading to sustainable growth.  You will provide the leadership, commercial and operational expertise to contribute to a thriving cultural borough, including the award-winning William Morris Gallery, Vestry House Museum and a range of ambitious arts and event activities, and links with the Walthamstow Wetlands.  You will drive forward a data-led approach to business development, bring clear budget and income management, and develop high quality, welcoming and accessible venue operations. 

We are looking for an individual with market awareness partnered with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial outlook and an understanding of the culture sector to ensure that Waltham Forest continues to grow as a borough of culture where diversity flourishes.  Supporting and empowering our local artists, creative sector and communities to deliver inclusive, relevant and high-quality cultural activities, we also work closely with our colleagues in economic growth to boost the reopening of our high streets, deliver longer term cultural infrastructure projects including the partnership with Soho Theatre to deliver a new comedy venue in the heart of the borough, and connect people to jobs.
