Disabled Facilities Grant Team Manager - Permanent

Are you a self-motivated Surveyor or Occupational Therapist looking to enhance your skills, promote integration and independence?   


Wokingham Borough Council have a vacancy within the Housing Service for a professional with a proven track record in residential adaptions to lead our Housing Adaptions Team. This is a full time, fully funded position. The team comprises an OT, Building Surveyor, Grant Officers and Administration Officers, sitting within the Housing Service. It provides a wide ranging service from simple grab rails, through, to ramps, walk in showers, lifts to significant extensions.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate they have very good experience with residential adaptions, are fully conversant with relevant legislation, have good team management experience and able to work on own initiative.

We will consider applications from both qualified Occupational Therapist and Building Surveyor who have suitable experience.

Wokingham Borough is a small but expanding unitary authority made up of a mixture of urban and rural communities offering a great diversity of experience.
