Customer Service Officer, Part-Time 21.75 hours per week
Band B, £11,587 - £11,818 per annum
We are looking for someone to join our busy Customer Services Team working flexibly between 9.00am to 2.45pm each day Monday to Wednesday and 9.15am to 2.45pm on Thursday.
Our Customer Service Officers work both face to face and over the telephone covering the full range of services the Council provides.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and constantly busy team responding to a wide range of customer enquiries.
By joining us you will be working for a Council dedicated to continuously improving the service it provides to its customers. We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a customer contact role who has excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills to help them consistently deliver high quality customer service by going the extra mile with their customers.
The successful candidate must have a natural ability to build and maintain relationships and talk to people at all levels, have a strong customer service focus and be highly motivated to solve the most complex of customer enquiries.
If the opportunity arises this is a role with the potential to progress to a Band C, Customer Service Officer (starting salary £20,092 per annum), where you would then help customers with financial matters such as council tax and benefits
