The County High School, Leftwich seeks to appoint a finance professional to be responsible for the effective management, control and monitoring of all financial aspects of the day to day running of the Academy’s finance department and work closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.

The County High School, Leftwich is an Academy within the Sir John Brunner Foundation, a Multi Academy Trust. The Head of Finance will work collaboratively across the wider organisation and liaise closely with the Chief Financial Officer. 

This is an interesting and diverse Finance role, as not only will the post holder ensure effective and efficient service that delivers accurate and timely information to its stakeholders, but the post holder will also be responsible for ensuring the school remains a safe, secure and attractive place to learn and work by overseeing the Site Team and Health and Safety matters.  This role also provides exciting opportunities to lead on specific projects (including future building projects).

The successful candidate will have the Financial skills, knowledge and experience to oversee the successful running of the Finance department. The candidate must be positive, enthusiastic and strive for continuous improvement. They must be passionate about the role they will play in the success of the Academy which translates to outstanding outcomes for the students.
