Assistant Project Manager

South Kilburn Estate Regeneration is managed by a small high achieving team with varying experience and knowledge.  The masterplan sets out the development of over 2500 homes, community infrastructure and public realm improvements over a 15 year period.  We are about half way through this ambitious programme and are looking for a new Assistant Project Manager to join the team.

 

The Post

An Assistant Project Manager is required for residential focused developments across an estate regeneration programme, the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from preparing sites for development, assisting in the procurement of developer partners and consultants, through to engaging with local residents and tenants at public meetings. In short you will cover the full spectrum of tasks within regeneration, each project is different and a range of skills are essential. The post holder will be assigned specific projects and will support a Senior Project Manager in bringing forward successful schemes with the overall goal of delivering new homes for Brent residents.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to understand design and financial information. You should have an understanding of good housing design, development challenges and planning issues. You will have the ability to work under pressure to deliver against project milestones.  You will also have the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner, both verbally and in writing to internal and external parties. The role is varied and challenging so an ability to work on a number of projects and issues at the same time will be essential, flexibility will also be required as you are likely to work in various locations and on a range of tasks.
