Horsham District Council are looking for a part-time Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance and Performance Department.
As Accounts Payable Officer you will be responsible for registering and processing incoming invoices and supporting the accounts payable function. We’d also expect the role to be an active part of the transactional finance team covering other appropriate finance functions.
To succeed as Accounts Payable Officer you will be AAT part qualified and / or have the relevant experience of paying invoices and using a computerised finance system. You will be a motivated team player with effective communication skills and attention to detail while working under time constraints.
The working hours can be spread over 4 or 5 days. You will be required to work some hours on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
