Fixed Term - 12 Months with possibility of extension
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in Children's Services supporting the recruitment and retention of our talented children's workforce.
You will be responsible for implementing our recruitment and retention strategy, continuing to build the profile of the borough as an attractive prospect for potential Children's Services staff, leading recruitment campaigns, ensuring effective onboarding, and working closely with the existing workforce to ensure that Wokingham offers the right environment and benefits to retain high-performing workers.
You may have a background in recruitment and retention, but if you don't, you are likely to have an interest in developing a career in human resources, and are passionate about people and their importance in a high-functioning organisation.
The current postholder had no specific experience in this recruitment and retention before joining.
