West Berkshire Council is currently looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Manager until the 31st July 2022. This is an exciting time to be joining the HR team with a wide variety of projects and organisational changes to get involved in along with supporting and managing a well established and experienced team to deliver a wide range of HR Services on behalf of the organisation.
We are looking for someone to join the team who already has a breadth of HR experience especially in relation to managing casework and HR related projects and who has previously worked in the public sector and local government. Having a knowledge of schools would also be an advantage. This post forms part of the HR Management Team.
The post is full time (37 hours) and we are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised. We may however consider offering slightly less hours than advertised providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager.
The organisation supports hybrid working with an ability to work from home a few days a week once established in post. The post is based in Newbury, West Berkshire, and we are looking for someone to start asap. The closing date will be at 5pm on Monday 24th January 2022. Interviews will take place on the 31st January 2022.
