Vacancy: Learning Resource Centre Officer

Start Date:  February 2022

Salary:  Grade 5 - Point 7 to 11 £20092 to £21748 - pro rata

Actual Salary:  £16817 to £18613

(37 Hours / 38 Weeks – Term time only)

We are looking for an inspiring, vibrant and resourceful colleague to manage our school library, who will be excited to join a team of English teachers who are brimming with enthusiasm about reading, young adult fiction and student engagement.

The successful candidate will have a knowledge of reading suitable for students aged 11-16 (beyond Harry Potter and supermarket shelf books) and a desire to support students to improve their reading ages and fluency.

If you can demonstrate initiative, have great interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn, we would love to have you on our team!
