Brighter Futures for Children

Data Officers X 3

Fixed Term 18 months

Brighter Futures for Children (BFfC) is an independent, not-for-profit-company, wholly owned by Reading Borough Council. Our responsibility is to deliver quality children's services, early help, education and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities services to children and families in Reading.

Through Central Government’s Data Accelerator Fund, we have secured funding to further develop and roll out our ‘in-house developed’ Family Data Hub to 3 partner Local authorities. This is an exciting project where you will be part of a team working with a wide range of stakeholders.

We are looking to recruit 3 experienced Data Officers to join the team working on this cutting-edge project. Applicants should have excellent ICT skills and will be working with data using Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and lookups. Have experience of SQL, Power BI and/or other business intelligence tools. You will be helping a local authority collate data sources to feed into the Data Hub. Posts are offered in Portsmouth, Wokingham and West Berkshire.

The post is mainly offered as remote working although flexibility to attend the office occasionally is required.
