Admin Support Officer

Job Title: Support Officer 

Location: Adult Safeguarding Service East, Stevenage

Salary: H5-H6 £20,903- £24491

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Job Duties: We are recruiting for Support Officer within the Safeguarding Adult Team for East Hertfordshire. We are looking for someone with strong administrative and communication skills to join our service and who also shows a caring commitment to the adults and carers we work with. We are passionate about what we do and highly supportive to one another, valuing our relationships with our clients, colleagues and partner organisations.

This role involves responsibilities such as:

  • To support the Adult Safeguarding team with administration of Adult Safeguarding cases.
  • Be a professional first point of contact for all incoming calls into the team, applying sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Arrange Safeguarding case conferences, strategy meetings, professional meetings and team meetings.
  • Minute taking at safeguarding meetings held at various venues, and distribute to attendees.

Experience of minute taking and experience or knowledge of social care services will be an advantage.  Specific safeguarding minute taking training will be provided.
