An exciting opportunity has arisen to help drive the Council’s Public Protection team into the future.
We need you to have at least one year’s experience of investigating and dealing with Enviro Crime or Public Protection. We need you to be an excellent organiser who can work effectively within our Public Protection Team and communicate with a variety of internal and external partners, organisations and residents. You will also be able to build rapport, develop relationships and meet agreed outcomes. You will be able to embrace the use of technology in the workplace and be able to manage multiple cases.
As well as having knowledge and experience in enforcement, you can think on your feet and problem solving across a range of disciplines will be second nature to you. Your calm and controlled manner under pressure and constant pursuit of resolutions will demonstrate your ability to succeed, and you will be able to communicate with a wide range of people both the public and within the council.
We can offer the following:
36¼ hour week, with an annual salary of £22,183 - £25,481
33 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 38 Days after 5 years
