Salary Range: £19,312 to £19,698 pa (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week (up to 22.5 hours)

About us:

The Children & Young People’s SEND Brokerage Team, located within Specialist Services in Hertfordshire, is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join this busy team.

The function of the team is to arrange packages of support for disabled children, young people and their carers.

The purpose of this post is to provide business and administrative support to the team.

The team is working a blend of remote and office-based work in line with covid guidelines in place at any time. We are supported by SMART working technology and using Microsoft Teams for remote communication.

Training and induction will be a blend of remote learning, using online learning, remote buddy support using screen sharing, voice and video calls, and some office-based support whilst following strict Covid security measures.

The Council will provide you with a laptop and mobile phone.

Responsibilities include:
*A range of administration duties including photocopying, minute taking and answering phone calls

*Using software to compile electronic forms, drawing on information provided by team members which confirms the details of children’s support packages for care providers, calculating the costs of care packages

*Maintain databases and spreadsheets with information including financial data

The role is desk-based, using ICT equipment and telephone.

Interview Date: 24th February 2022 - conducted remotely via MS Teams and will include a short test for which you will need access to your own ICT equipment with Microsoft Office software.
