Part time (0.55) Year 2 Maternity Cover.

The Governors of Eaton Primary School would like to appoint an excellent teacher to teach a Year 2 class from 1st February 2023. This will initially be to cover a maternity leave.  We anticipate that this role will be until 31st August 2023 - although it could be extended depending on staffing requirements in the new academic year. Both experienced and ECT teachers are invited to apply for this role - although ideally we will appoint a teacher who is experienced in, and has demonstrated success in, teaching Year 2.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching this age group and will be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in the teaching of the ks1 curriculum.
Usual working days will be Mondays and Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays - but this will be discussed in more detail at interview. The class will be shared with an experienced teacher.
To apply, please complete and return the  application form, together with a letter of application of not more than two sides of A4.

Closing date: noon on Thursday 3rd November 2022

Proposed interview dates: Thursday 17th November 2022
