Elizabeth Fry Charity runs a Ministry of Justice Approved Premises in Reading, accommodating up to 24 women, mostly on licence from prison. We strive to be an excellent provider of accommodation and support for women in the criminal justice system. We work closely with our partner agencies to manage risk, protect the public and support women to make positive changes to their lives.
We are looking for individuals to join our panel of Relief Workers to help us ensure we can offer women at Elizabeth Fry House support which is consistent and of the highest quality.
Relief Workers have a zero hours contract and can choose to work at times and days which suit them from the shifts that are available. We provide a 24/7 service so are able to offer daytime, evening and waking night shifts at the following rates of pay:
Relief Worker day, evening and weekend rate - £15.04 per hour (includes holiday allowance)
Relief Worker waking night rate - £18.31 per hour (includes holiday allowance)
You will need to be responsible, adaptable, open-minded and self motivated, capable of working in a lively environment and sensitive to the needs of others.
You will join an enthusiastic, supportive and committed team and will receive appropriate training for your particular needs.
