Horsham District Council are looking for a talented, self-motivated and enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our multi-disciplinary Specialist Team.
As Landscape Architect you will work on a wide range of projects, within development control and strategic planning, and which will contribute towards planning decisions that shape the future environment of the district.
Your challenge will be to assess plans and applications for compliance with standards and legislation, support officers in grasping with landscape opportunities and issues faced whilst travelling around the district.
To succeed as Landscape Architect, you will need proven relevant qualifications and understanding, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels with the public, members, and colleagues alike. You’ll also need lots of initiative and good organisational and time management skills.
