More about this employer

Advanced Practitioner

We are recruiting 2 x experienced and talented social workers to be an Advanced Practitioner in our Adult Safeguarding Service to operate across Hertfordshire.

You will need to be a registered & qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC) or Social Worker (SWE).

If the values and principles of Making Safeguarding Personal are intrinsic to your practice, this could be you!

Our Advanced Practitioners contribute effectively and professionally to the specialist Adult Safeguarding team, working towards positive and personalised outcomes for the citizens of Hertfordshire. You will develop practice and make sure individuals are supported within their local communities.

Our Advanced Practitioners provide expert information, advice and guidance in complex situations as well as reflective professional supervision for social workers. They oversee and co-ordinate responses to safeguarding concerns, identify safeguarding plans to mitigate risk in a way that’s proportionate and acceptable to the person, convene strategy discussions or meetings, guide investigations and chair case conferences.

Business travel will be required as part of the role.

We take your social work registration and your professional identity as seriously as you do. We are proud to be a partner in the Hertfordshire Social Work Teaching Partnership, working with higher education partners, The Tavistock and Portman and the University of Hertfordshire to provide excellent opportunities for CPD, research activity and connection with social work colleagues across Hertfordshire.
