Hours: 37 hours a week (day release for University studies)

As a Trainee Planning Officer, you will play a big part in achieving this vision. With businesses and communities depending on your skills, you will find your greatness using your professional expertise in resolving planning projects and managing a caseload of planning applications to achieve high quality developments.

To help deliver our growth agenda we have created a number of new exciting trainee roles to join our Academy Team. These have been designed to give you a structured, supported, approach to developing your skills, knowledge and experience within a planning environment.

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in planning. You don’t have to have any work experience or a formal specialist qualification as we will fully support you to achieve this. You will receive funding and support enabling you to study for a relevant qualification to become a chartered town planner.

To apply you will need to have achieved a degree in a relevant subject and hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car as travel is essential.
