Property Support Officer (Ref: PSO)
Salary £20,875 p.a.
We are looking for a Property Support Officer to join our busy Property Services team. Your new role will provide a wide range of administrative support to the property team and assist with the management of the Council’s portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The duties will include:
- General administrative support including answering telephone queries, opening mail, filing and photocopying
- updating the computerised property systems and run reports/produce maps
- Raising purchase orders and processing of invoices
- Dealing with utility bills
You should be educated to A Level standard, with GCSE passes in Maths and English at grade C (4) or above as well as an I.T qualification. You should have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment; a background in property would be a distinct advantage.
You must be a hardworking team player able to apply common sense, numerate and literate with good written and interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative to problem solve. Holding a current valid driving license is preferable but not essential.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
