Wrap Around Care Deputy

Out of School Club Deputy – Temporary one year position to begin with.

To start Monday 5th September 2022, Grade 4 salary £2941.00

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual with drive and enthusiasm to support the school in setting up our very own wrap around care. This is an exciting time at our school and we would be delighted for you to join us as we begin this new adventure.

We are looking for a team player who has relevant, recent experience, high expectations and commitment. The club will operate during term time only, 38 weeks per year, with a breakfast and after school club in term time.  We will be looking to develop this further ‘if successful’ in to offering a summer holiday club in the future.

The ideal candidate would work 6.65 hours per week (7.30am – 8.50am) on Grade 4, (actual salary £2941.00 per annum). They must have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to communicate effectively with children, SLT, parents and the wider community and the ability to work flexibly are all essential for the post. They must be committed to supporting the manager of the club and working together in the planning and delivery of activities, being jointly responsible for welfare and safeguarding procedures. A willingness to contribute positively to our happy team and to become involved in the wider aspects of school life is also imperative. 

Training will be provided for full first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding procedures.
