Senior Social Work /Approved Mental Health Practitioner
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Practitioner within the Wokingham Community Mental Health Service. You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team who pride themselves in delivering excellent services to service users and their carers. The service is proud to be rated “Outstanding” by CQC. The post holder will act as the lead safeguarding lead practitioner for the service and will support the team in fulfilling its reviewing responsibilities. This will include liaison with the safeguarding team at Wokingham Borough Council.
The service comprises of a Recovery team with a duty function. This position is based within the recovery team and the post holder will carry a varied caseload, acting as a care coordinator and also a BIA and AMHP if qualified to do so. We are looking for someone with a good level of clinical knowledge and skills to complement the team. The vacancy is for a Senior Social Worker. Experience as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner would be desirable and an advantage. There will be opportunities for training and personal development available including access to AMHP and BIA training.
