Leasehold Coordinator

What you'll do

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our Home Ownership Team for a Leasehold Coordinator. You will be supporting a professional Optivo Home Ownership sales program for Shared Owners which would include Resale and Staircasing sales, ensuring that the service is in line with all legal contractual and regulatory requirements and best practice.

  • You’ll be the first point of contact and respond to resales and staircasing enquiries from our shared owners
  • Upload marketing information for resales onto online shared ownership sales portals including the Optivo website
  • Obtain Land Registry information for the property from archive or from Land registry portal.

You will be given the flexibility of working from home 4 days a week, and 1 day working onsite.

What you’ll need

  • You’ll be educated to A level standard including passes in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent or have the ability to operate at that level.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of leasehold/shared ownership and homeowners property sales and transactions (desirable).
  • A basic understanding of the terms of the shared ownership lease. Specifically, the impact of a low remaining lease term on the value of the property. 
  • You’ll be able to show that you can work within policies and procedures and exercise discretion referring to team leaders as needed to deliver high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills. 
  • The ability to deal with conflicting priorities, work to deadlines and under pressure.
