Wirral is home to vibrant, energetic and engaged communities, people who take real ownership of their local area and are passionate about making Wirral a better place. The council and its partners have pledged to #BeTheDifference.

We’ve got ambitious targets to meet by 2025. To achieve everything we have promised to our residents, we need people who are driven and ready to deliver the very best for our communities - #BeTheDifference.

The Floral Pavilion is a busy, multipurpose venue that attracts over 250,000 visitors a year. To service the building we have a team of Venue Assistants to facilitate the operational aspects of the venue. As the venue grows we are looking to expand our Venue Assistant team to accommodate the extra events and demands on our service.

Working across the Bars, Box Office, Event Set ups and Stewarding, you will be required to take on a variety of roles mainly during evenings and weekends. Having a great customer focus and ability to communicate with our patrons is an essential part of this role.

We have 2 posts available that can be allocated either as 2 x 36-hour contracts or 4 x 18-hour contracts.

All contracts are permanent and will work via our annualised hours policy.
