Customer Services Team Leader (Repairs)

Starting salary £31,951pa with potential progression to £34,765pa on achieving designated skills and experience

With over 9000 homes in our borough, we are proud of the services we provide to our customers. As we continue to make improvements to our services, we are looking for an experienced Manager to join our team to support our journey of transformation and change.

In this key role and it will be up to you to deliver our promise of being a high-quality landlord, managing the delivery of a comprehensive, customer focused front line Repairs Contact Centre for all tenants, leaseholders and customers of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, cov23ering responsive repairs, planned works, and other property related services. You will manage a small team of Repairs Administrators to create a ‘first time resolution’ culture and lead on managing informal and formal complaints relating to the service.

To succeed, you will need experience of managing a contact centre and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others. We are looking for an individual who has the drive and passion to develop services to our customers.

You will need a problem solving mind-set, excellent staff management experience but most of all the desire to drive improvements, ensure continued high levels of contractor performance and to deliver the values and behaviours set out by the council.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
