Wirral Council is seeking self-starters, problem solvers and team players educated to level 4 in Town Planning or in a related field to process a significant number of planning enforcement issues, in relation to planning enforcement investigations and associated matters.

You'll also need a delivery mind set and the passion to help make our organisation the very best.

You'll deal with minor matters in respect of planning enforcement, including investigations, negotiating and advising to achieve satisfactory resolution/compliance, carrying out assessments of harm and expediency, taking appropriate enforcement action, with the opportunity to deal with enforcement appeals and attend court proceedings as appropriate to the role. You must therefore have a basic knowledge of the relevant law, Government guidance, policies and practice relating to planning' excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate information and the ability to present clear, accurate and concise reports to a wide range of audiences.
