Highway Network Management Co-ordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a motivated and enthusiastic team in managing works that take place on our streets.

 

Through our permit scheme we co-ordinate, manage and monitor street works and road works to minimise inconvenience and disruption to all road users. As part of our team, your main role will be to issue, manage and co-ordinate permit applications from statutory undertakers, utility companies, contractors, and other parties. 

 

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an office and has strong co-ordination skills, customer service experience, accurate administrative skills, and excellent IT ability.  You will work closely with utilities, contractors, and other Council departments resolving issues, so confident communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage your own work without close supervision.

 

Whilst experience in a Streetworks/highways related role and knowledge of the local area would be advantageous, they are not essential.
