The Governors of Scholar Green Primary School wish to appoint a teaching assistant to support special needs pupils within a mainstream classroom (38 weeks of the year) across the school. This post is 30 hours per week during school term time, 8:45am to 3:15pm with a 30 minute lunch break – Monday to Friday. There may be occasions where class cover is also required on a short term basis.
The post will start from Monday 5th September 2022 or as soon after as possible and is a permanent post.
Required licence or certification:
The candidate needs to hold a Level 3 or equivalent childcare qualification, Paediatric 1st Aid certificate and must have proven experience of working within a busy school. The candidate will be keen to learn and come to the School with fresh and new ideas to add to such a busy and lively environment. The candidate will be able to use their initiative and have the ability to put their experiences to good use. This role will also provide a great platform to candidates looking to further their skillset.
