Culture and Creative Sector Development Officer

37 hours per week.

The Economy and Tourism Team at Winchester City Council is seeking a Culture and Creative Sector Development Officer to play a key role in building the capacity of Winchester district’s cultural sector, working closely across the district’s creative and cultural industry to develop and implement a district wide Cultural Manifesto and Framework.

This post is at the heart of Winchester district's creative ambitions, driving forward new initiatives, seeking new opportunities, optimising the district’s cultural assets, and bringing partners together.

This role is ideal for an ambitious, professional officer with experience of sector development. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who can manage multiple external partnerships and projects, identify funding opportunities, support funding bids and seek emerging opportunities for further sector development.

Applications from candidates working in adjacent sectors, for example in tourism, economy, or community development, are welcome.
