Strategic Asset and Compliance Manager
Salary from £57,648 to £62,316 pa depending on skills and experience
Plus Lease car or cash alternative of £3,080 pa

There are increased responsibilities on Councils to ensure that well planned effective services are delivered which demonstrably meet all building standards and fire safety requirements. This is a new role within our housing service whereby the main focus is to strengthen the service in terms of governance.
You will be responsible for leading the management and delivering the effective performance and overall direction of the Housing Revenue Account which will focus on strategic asset management and will include:
- Planning of investment programme
- Property compliance and safety
- Delivery of planned and programmed maintenance, responsive repairs, works to empty homes.
- Delivery of carbon reduction and energy efficiency improvements.
You will work as a pro-active member of the Management Team of Housing taking responsibility to represent the Housing service, Including attending and actively participating in senior management team meetings and events, to help the Council meet its objectives.
In order to excel in this role it is essential that you are educated to degree level or equivalent senior management role in a similar environment and have a proven background in management within a housing setting, along with significant experience in:
- Managing a planned maintenance service
- Development, production and supervision of various types of maintenance work occupied properties in a housing setting.
- Procurement and contract management of various types of maintenance work and managing large budgets.
