School Business Manager
Due to early retirement, the Governors are looking to appoint a permanent School Business Manager (AAAD5088) for this warm and friendly school in the heart of Nantwich. Good working knowledge of Local Authority IT systems, MS Word and Excel are desirable.
The applicant should be able to administer the personnel support service within the school, including the issue of Statements of Written Particulars, and maintenance of personnel records, to ensure that staff are correctly contracted, paid and advised of personnel matters. In addition, oversee the school budget and advise the Headteacher and Governors on the strategic budgetary position. Applicants should be familiar with dealing with school budgets, school fund and accounting systems related to Financial Standards.
The Grade 7, scp 18 (£25,419 to £28,226 pro rata, per annum) School Business Manager involves working 28 hours a week which includes half an hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours will be 8.30am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Thursday.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school - children, staff, parents and Governors.
