Hackney Education is the Education Department for Hackney Council supporting schools and settings. We are seeking to appoint a HR Advisor to work alongside senior HR colleagues to provide advice to a number of schools and departments within the Hackney Education Service. In order to do this you will have experience of developing and maintaining relationships with senior managers, ideally within a unionised sector.  

 

This is a busy role and you must have a strong operational focus and good HR knowledge as you will always work independently. You will have a good understanding of advising on a wide range of HR practices e.g. absence management, disciplinary and grievance, family friendly policies and recruitment in a customer focussed environment where HR best practice and an understanding of employment legislation is essential. You will have your own caseload and will be responsible for advising managers and senior leaders.
