Civil Enforcement Officer

Hastings is an ambitious and progressive Council, and our Civil Enforcement Officers provide an essential and valued service at the core of our public protection and community safety work.

The successful candidate will undertake patrols in all areas of the town, during these patrols you will play a significant part in reducing enviro-crime and anti-social behaviour. You will also patrol our off-street parking facilities.

You will work in close partnership with other agencies such as the Police, other council departments and the local community.

The ideal candidate will be someone with experience of working with the public and in addition some form of enforcement experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given to the right person. 

You will be working with a team and organisation that has achieved Community Safety Accreditation through Sussex Police and you will be required to work towards this status.
