The Lexcel accredited Legal Services department has over 100 employees, it is one of the largest legal departments in local government and provides a full legal service across all specialisms to both the county council and to other public sector bodies.

We are looking to grow our successful Commercial Law Team with the addition of Commercial Lawyer roles. The role will involve working closely with managers throughout all departments in the county council who are driving critical organisational change and service improvement.

The Commercial Law Team is a fundamental part of the development of the county council and provides the opportunity to be involved in a broad portfolio of legal work concerned with major projects, complex procurements, establishing and servicing companies and the wider commercialisation of the county council.
