HR Manager

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic HR Manager to join the Marist community and contribute to the future growth of this successful school.  The Marist School is set in stunning woodlands in the heart of Sunninghill.   You will be responsible for the day to day management of the HR operation.  Your role will include;

  • Provision of both operational and non-routine HR advice and guidance to the Principal and Executive Team
  • Ensure compliance with the ISI and KCSIE regulations in all areas
  • Oversight and ownership of the HR systems including the use of iSAMS
  • Development and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure statutory compliance and best practice
  • Working closely with the Executive team and Governors to ensure the recruitment, retention and development of high quality staff
  • Oversight of the management of the Single Central Record
  • Management of pensions and staff benefit schemes
  • Lead and administer the recruitment process
  • Development of a new employee onboarding and induction procedure

You should be;

  • CIPD qualified or be able to evidence equivalent HR experience
  • Up to date in terms of your employment law knowledge
  • Fully IT literate with experience of iSAMS an advantage
  • Methodical in your approach to administration and have the ability to manage multiple projects
  • An excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Have previous experience of introducing and developing policies and procedures
  • Proactive with strong time-management skills
  • Hard working with a great sense of humour

The role is full time and permanent but we are willing to consider flexible working with the right candidate.
