Permanent - Full Time (36 hours)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to join our friendly, committed and highly regarded in-house legal team.

Enfield Council has embarked on an ambitious programme of regeneration and housing development and we are looking to recruit an experienced lawyer to act as our Regeneration Lead within the legal team. The successful candidate will play a lead role in facilitating the delivery of our regeneration plans by working with colleagues across the Council. The post holder will carry a varied caseload, including development agreements, commercial and residential property transactions, planning and highways issues, compulsory purchase matters, governance and ancillary issues involved in larger projects.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and drafting skills and the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to a variety of audiences. The role will sometimes require working outside normal office hours and cross-working with other teams within the department.
