Oldershaw School is an 11-19 co-educational comprehensive.  We have a proud history of a hundred years of success and we believe in the very highest standards and expectations to provide a rich and challenging education for each and every student.

We are over-subscribed, expanding and were rated Good by Ofsted (March 2022). We are looking to appoint an approachable, efficient and pro-active  Science Technician to join our Science Department.  

The successful candidate will support the science teaching team.  They will prepare resources for practical lessons, covering all areas of science.  They will be responsible for stock control and maintenance of tools, equipment and stock used by teachers and students.   

They will carry out risk assessments and ensure that Health & Safety guidelines are followed. 

Successful candidates will undergo a competency assessment.  If you are called for interview, please advise us of any special requirements you may have.
