ICT Infrastructure and Security Manager

Do you want to play a pivotal role in enabling 3 District and Borough Councils achieve their Digital transformation ambitions?

We are looking to recruit a talented Infrastructure and Security Manager who will ensure our Server, network, storage and security estate is robust, reliable, secure and above all fit for purpose .

You will lead a small team of Infrastructure & Security Engineers reporting to the Strategic Head of ICT Shared Service to manage all aspects of the council partners ICT Infrastructure, as well as delivering new technologies and ways of working to the organisation through our infrastructure and security layers.

You will have good technical and security knowledge coupled understanding of best practice and industry trends.  You will have the ability to quickly understand our internal and external customer needs and translate those requirements into an overarching medium term plan, with the central aim of ensuring ICT provide the best infrastructure possible to help customers be secure productive and get the best experience from the ICT infrastructure they use everyday.

The Infrastructure & Security Manager will need to be able to confidently lead on and support the technologies we use as well as define our next steps in evolving our Infrastructure environment and security posture.
