The role is part of the Business Delivery Service which provides administrative support in the Safeguarding and Specialist Services area of Children’s Services. The position will be supporting Team Managers in our Care Leavers Service.
The Care Leaver Service supports 18-25-year olds who have left care. The service supports young people with all their needs and offers advice and guidance to young adults. They complete Pathway Plans and maintain regular contact with these vulnerable young adults, in order to support them to move towards independence.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised individuals who are able to deliver a high level of administrative support to facilitate an excellent service being delivered to the Care Leavers Service.
Although there are no specific qualifications required for this role, previous experience in service delivery or a business-related qualification would be beneficial.
You will be a competent administrator with experience of using Microsoft Office and will be comfortable taking minutes at meetings or developing this skill. You will be a positive and flexible team member and display excellent customer care skills.
You will be self-motivated, professional and approachable providing excellent team support and best practice always. You must be willing to undertake a variety of administrative tasks, operating within departmental policies and procedures.
