Job Title: Driver/Attendant

Salary Range: £18,887 - £19,650 (pro-rata for part time)

Hours : 25 per week

Contract:  Permanent

Do you want to help people in your local community? This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of internal staff as a Driver/Attendant. Your primary duties will include transporting vulnerable adults and children between either their homes to school and/or to adult day services. As the face of HCC, you will be ensuring passengers have access to a high quality, reliable and efficient service.

We are looking for people with a caring and professional approach. The ideal person will naturally go above and beyond; understanding and acknowledging that our passengers value a friendly face and someone who is thoughtful and considerate; flexibility is therefore essential to carry out this role effectively.  You will need to be a good team worker, able to work unsupervised with a ‘can do’ attitude and demonstrable skills focused upon treating people with dignity and respect.

In order to be considered for this role you will require a D1 entitlement on your driving license as you will be required to drive large minibuses. Further training will be provided to successful candidates.
