Job Duties:

Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People - enables young people to succeed through targeted prevention and early intervention - to address emerging needs, improve life chances, and reduce escalation to more expensive and intensive services.  It supports young people who are challenged in education, their communities or home life to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.

Services for Young People requires a Facilities Officer to support delivery teams with the day-to-day management of premises.  You will be responsible for overseeing all venue related matters at centres owned, managed or used by the Service in Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere, St Albans and Dacorum including health, safety and security to ensure quality delivery sites.

This is an interesting and varied role, suited to someone who enjoys a busy and stimulating environment, has basic IT skills, is highly organised, proactive, flexible has practical skills and works well independently.  You will need to work from multiple sites daily and therefore you must be able to travel independently and have access to your own transport.
